The Warren Woods Ecological Field Station has been featured on the Architect’s Newspaper’s Facades blog. The story highlights the building envelope utilized in the construction of the first Passive House certified laboratory in North America, beginning with our patented, insulated slab-on-grade foundation system, through the moisture barriers and exterior finishes and the custom fabricated stainless steel accordion screen, designed for security, aesthetics and to control solar heat gain.
