MaineBiz Recognizes GO Logic in Supporting Maine’s Economy
Matt O’Malia and Alan Gibson are honored to be named among MaineBiz’s “Ten People Shaping the Future of Maine’s Economy”. Within their October 6th issue, MaineBiz presents their “Next List”, a series of articles highlighting creative thinkers, business people and innovators from across the state that are creating jobs and gaining recognition. “Logical Development: GO Logic’s Matt O’Malia and Alan Gibson Quietly Stage a Passive House Revolution” highlights many of GO Logic’s achievements: first Certified Passive House in Maine; first Certified Passive House dormitory in the nation; first Certified Passive House in Michigan; first Passive House Certified laboratory in the US. Among those achievements they include growing their firm from just themselves and four builders to include 23 employees. GO Logic also registered it’s first patent in 2014, increasing the energy and construction efficiency of their slab-on-grade foundation through additional insulation. With several projects currently underway in Maine, as well as in Boston, New Hampshire, Michigan and Pennsylvania, and a pre-fabricated modular component shop in the works, GO Logic is poised to bring energy-efficient and cost-effective design and construction to more clients than ever, and hope to increase the companies workforce and sales.
