House on a Knoll featured in The New Small House
Our House on a Knoll residence, completed in 2011 (also known as our 1000 square foot predesign plan) has consistently been one of our most inquired about projects. It has been featured in magazines and books, including The Best of Fine Homebuilding: Small Homes, Cabins & Cottages and Fine Homebuilding’s Energy Smart Homes. Most recently, Little House on a Knoll was included in Katie Hutchison’s new book The New Small House. 
The New Small House focuses on smaller, environmentally and economically friendly homes, presenting design strategies along with 24 small house examples categorized by location. For those considering building small, this book could be a great resource.
