Announcing Island Residence!
GO Logic is in the process of building a seasonal island residence, located on a sloping site adjacent to an old granite quarry with expansive ocean views. The residence consists of three small structures: a living unit and two bedroom units that are linked by an exterior deck. The structures follow the topography of the site, and are arranged to create a loosely enclosed outdoor space that can be accessed from multiple points. By separating the residence into independent structures, the buildings can function with a degree of autonomy and flexibility despite having a small footprint. The structures will be clad in cedar and weather to a natural gray. A system of sliding screens will provide privacy and light control and allow the structures to be secured over the winter when not in use. We are currently preparing the foundation, and look forward to sharing the progress with you!
