Ageless Maine

AARP Maine has teamed up with Maine magazine to produce a new publication aimed at readers over the age of 50. The first issue has an excellent story on the Belfast Cohousing and Ecovillage, focusing on two retired couples who live there.

GO Logic was deeply involved in planning and building the Ecovillage, so we were pleased to read community members’ positive remarks about the comfort, energy efficiency, connection to nature, and supportive multi-age social life they enjoy here. It’s great to know that the infrastructure and buildings are performing as designed, and that the community they support has taken root and is thriving on its own.

Based on its debut issue, Ageless Maine has made a great start also. The first-rate writing, design, and photography will be familiar to readers of Maine magazine and Maine Home+Design. Its coverage of life from the 50-plus perspective is sharp, timely, and interesting, even to those of us who haven’t yet crossed the half-century mark. We look forward to seeing more.

You can read the full inaugural issue here.
